I've experienced working in both startups and big corporations alike. I believe that with hard work, dedication, and persistence, anyone can make their dreams come true. My biggest pet peeve is from those who always say "that's a tough business to be in...'widgets' are a very competitive market...there are too many players in that segment..." you get my drift. Unless you are one of the few to develop a discontinuous innovation, embrace the competition, learn from them, and then kick their ass in the market place!
